ALULUX REFD77 SYSTEM

Why PAS 24 / Part Q Matters

Why PAS 24 / Part Q Matters
PAS 24 certification is a requirement under Approved Document Q of the Building Regulations — but only for new dwellings (such as new-build houses, flats, or apartments) and certain changes of use (e.g. converting a commercial building into residential use). In these cases, windows and doors must meet enhanced security standards to prevent unauthorised access.

If your project falls under these categories, PAS 24 compliance is essential. However, for many home improvements, extensions, or replacement doors and windows in existing homes, PAS 24 is not a legal requirement — although it may still be preferred for added peace of mind.

At Alulux, we offer both PAS 24-compliant products and a wider range of high-performance systems to suit different needs, so you can choose the right option for your project.

Engineered for Security.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I bought some bi-fold patio doors from this company over 4 years ago. The doors are of excellent quality. Not only this but the after care I have received on multiple occasions from the support team has been first class. They are extremely prompt and have given advice and guidance with some minor issues and replaced a part for me when there was an issue.

I would absolutely use this company again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. How refreshing it is to deal with a company who understand customer service. My 6 year old beautiful bifold doors developed a problem with one of the handles. My query was personally dealt with and a new handle arrived two days later - without charge! Keep it up guys, there are still people around who appreciate true service. Thank you.
